Controversial right-wing figure Milo Yiannopoulos deported from US

Milo Yiannopoulos, a prominent and often controversial figure on the American right and a former vocal supporter of Donald Trump, has been deported from the United States. The British national was reportedly detained by U.S. immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) agents in New Orleans before being sent back to the United Kingdom.

According to reports, Yiannopoulos, 41, remained in the U.S. beyond his legally permitted stay after his visa expired. A judge issued a final deportation order against him in July, leading to his recent detention and expulsion.

Yiannopoulos gained notoriety for his provocative stances and public scandals, particularly within the American conservative movement through his work with Breitbart and his strong endorsement of Donald Trump. However, in recent years, he has become a sharp critic of his former political ally, accusing Trump's administration of sacrificing honor and integrity and declaring that "Trumpism has died."

Throughout his career, Yiannopoulos has been embroiled in numerous controversies that resulted in bans from online platforms, canceled public appearances, and the loss of significant contracts. He has also collaborated with figures such as Kanye West, also known as Ye, and members of the MAGA movement. U.S. authorities stated that Yiannopoulos entered the country legally in 2019 but subsequently violated immigration laws by overstaying his authorized period.
