Corporate Strategy Must Build Lasting Value and Business Resilience

Businesses facing a new global security architecture must move beyond traditional stability and build active resilience across technology, processes and human capital. That is the premise of a panel scheduled for the Economic Forum in Karpacz.

The discussion will address a practical tension: how companies can preserve current cost efficiency while making the investments needed for strategic security and operational continuity. The proposed response includes diversifying supply chains, automating operations, expanding data analytics and strengthening cybersecurity.

The panel will be moderated by Dorota Niedziółka, deputy rector for development at the Warsaw School of Economics. Speakers will include Maciej Włodarczyk of IGLOTEX, Tomasz Osman of SAVICKI, Maspex chief executive Krzysztof Pawiński, Jacek Chwedoruk of Rothschild & Co and Dariusz Blocher, chair of Unibep’s supervisory board.

The forum will begin at noon on Sept. 8 with the presentation of the 2026 SGH and Economic Forum Report, described as a comprehensive academic study of the economies of Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. More than 6,000 people have registered, and registration will remain open until Sept. 2. The 35th forum is scheduled for Sept. 8-10, 2026.
