Cracks on Pelješac Bridge Minor, Safety Not in Question, Minister Says

Croatian Minister Oleg Butković has assured the public that minor cracks on the Pelješac Bridge do not compromise its safety. He announced that the necessary repairs will be carried out under warranty by the bridge's construction contractor.

Butković explained that the intervention will focus on a portion of the bridge's surface layer. He emphasized that traffic will continue to flow without interruption while the repairs are underway. The financing for this work will be covered by the contractor responsible for the bridge's construction, ensuring no additional cost to the state.
