"Creating My Song" arrives in San Antonio to offer free training to young artists

Young artists in San Antonio will have the opportunity to hone their songwriting skills through the free "Creando mi canción" program. Starting August 8, the initiative, spearheaded by musicians and composers Víctor Riveros and Gustavo Luque, will offer workshops designed to stimulate creativity and provide practical tools for song creation.

The workshops will be hosted at the Eulalia Salinas de Domínguez Conservatory, located at the San Antonio de Padua Parish grounds. Víctor Riveros, a composer, musician, and singer-songwriter, will lead the sessions. The project is supported by the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (Fondec) and directed by Gustavo Luque, who has extensive experience in music production.

While open to all ages, the program particularly encourages participation from young individuals aged 15 to 35. Participants should ideally play an instrument, sing, or write poetry. The free classes are scheduled for Saturdays: August 8, 15, 22, and 29, running from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interested individuals must complete an online registration form.

"Creando mi canción" has previously conducted similar training workshops in various municipalities, including Luque, Ñemby, Itá, and Asunción.
