Croatian Parliament Speaker congratulates Muslim believers on Eid al-Adha

Gordan Jandroković, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, has extended his heartfelt greetings to all Muslim believers in Croatia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Kurban-bajram). In his message to Mufti Dr. Aziz ef. Hasanović, the president of the Islamic Community in Croatia, and all adherents of Islam, Jandroković conveyed sincere congratulations on behalf of the Croatian Parliament and personally.

He highlighted that Eid al-Adha carries profound messages emphasizing the importance of faith, sacrifice, and love for one's neighbor. The holiday, he noted, places a central focus on caring for those in need and fostering a spirit of kindness, understanding, and humanity in daily life. Jandroković stressed that the essence of this celebration serves as a reminder of the values of community, solidarity, mutual closeness, and respect.

"By affirming precisely these values in our own actions, we concretely contribute to a more harmonious coexistence in our Homeland, for the benefit of all its citizens," Jandroković stated. He concluded by wishing all members of the Islamic faith in Croatia a celebration filled with peace, health, and joy, surrounded by their families and friends, offering the traditional greeting: "Bajram Šerif Mubarek Olsun!"
