Bulgarian club CSKA 1948 Sofia has progressed to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, overcoming Spartak Trnava of Slovakia in a penalty shootout. The team, which includes Bolivian internationals Diego Medina, Héctor Cuéllar, and José Martínez, secured their advancement after two goalless draws in both the first and second leg matches.

Medina and Cuéllar started the decisive match. Medina played until the 104th minute of extra time, while Cuéllar played the entire game. José Martínez was brought on as a substitute in the second half. The penalty shootout saw Cuéllar successfully convert the third spot-kick for CSKA 1948.
