Cucurella and Diomande receive their jersey numbers at Real Madrid

Real Madrid has revealed the jersey numbers for its latest signings, including the highly anticipated Yan Diomande and Marc Cucurella. Diomande, an Ivorian international reportedly acquired for over 120 million euros, making him potentially the most expensive player in Real Madrid's history, has been assigned the number 25. Meanwhile, defender Marc Cucurella, who joined after winning the World Cup with the Spanish team, will wear the number 17 jersey. The club also disclosed the numbers for other summer recruits: Ibrahima Konate will wear number 16, Denzel Dumfries number 24, Bernardo Silva number 20, and Carlos Espí number 19. Several existing players are also changing numbers. Raul Asencio will switch from 17 to 2, a number previously worn by captain Dani Carvajal. Dean Huijsen will take over number 4 from David Alaba, relinquishing his previous number 24. Young Spanish midfielder Thiago Pitarch will be part of the first-team squad, taking number 27, which was notably worn by former goalkeeper Iker Casillas. Additionally, Brazilian forward Endrick has reclaimed the number 9 shirt, which had been vacant since his loan spell last winter.
