Da Nang Hosts Major MICE Event with 5,000 Visitors, Showcasing City's Tourism Capabilities

Da Nang has successfully hosted a significant MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) delegation, comprising around 5,000 participants from WinCommerce. The group is currently engaged in a series of conferences and activities in the city.

This large-scale MICE event is considered one of the biggest to visit Da Nang in 2026. It serves to reinforce the city's reputation as a professional hub for event organization and MICE tourism, strengthening its position as a leading destination in Vietnam's central region.

The delegation, managed by Vietravel, is participating in various activities including conferences, leisure, sightseeing, and culinary experiences across Da Nang's prominent attractions. To ensure a smooth and secure experience, the Da Nang Police Department collaborated on security measures, traffic management, and crowd control in areas where the group is staying and moving.

Additionally, the Da Nang Department of Construction assisted with traffic coordination and route guidance, facilitating the group's transportation and event logistics. The city's Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism highlighted Da Nang's advantages for MICE tourism, including its robust infrastructure, quality services, and diverse tourism products.

Da Nang continues to enhance its MICE tourism policies, focusing on professionalism and sustainability. The city has also introduced the "MICE - The Rising Wave" award to recognize businesses that significantly contribute to attracting MICE clients. In the first five months of 2026, Da Nang advised and hosted approximately 101 MICE groups, totaling over 28,400 visitors, with a notable increase in international attendees from countries like India, Malaysia, China, and Singapore.
