Daniel, Amosun and others celebrate Tejuoso’s wife on her 75th birthday

Olori Omolara Tejuoso marked her 75th birthday in Abeokuta with praise from former Ogun governors Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun, as well as traditional leader High Chief Dapo Adewolu.

Family members, old schoolmates, friends, traditional rulers and other dignitaries attended the celebration. It began with a Christian thanksgiving service, where the Primate and Bishop of the African Church, Most Rev. A.A. Odufuwa, described Tejuoso’s 75th birthday as a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

To reach 75 is a testimony. For Daddy and Mummy to be preserved today is not by their doing. It is the Lord’s doing that they are not consumed.

“Your age does not matter; God is promising that he will surely carry you. The celebration of today is not the end of the road; there is still purpose. Age does not end destiny,” Odufuwa said. He also prayed for Tejuoso’s long life, strength, wisdom, good health, prosperity and fulfillment.

At the reception at the Marquees of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Daniel, Amosun and Adewolu praised Tejuoso’s character and influence. Adewolu particularly highlighted her humility, generosity and affection for people. Her husband, Osile of Oke-Ona Oba Dr Adedapo Tejuoso, and Chief Segun Osunkeye, who turned 86, were also remembered in prayers and honored at the event.

Tejuoso said the occasion gave her a chance to reconnect with friends and classmates she had known for 60 or 70 years. “I love people. I love to do things for people,” she said. She also recalled growing up in a family of successful entrepreneurs, including her father, Gabriel Adesanya Odeneye, known as “Ade Millionaire,” and her mother, Beatrice Aderibigbe Odeneye.
