Daniel O'Donnell exhibition to open in Co Kildare

Co Kildare is buzzing with excitement as the Museum of Style Icons at Newbridge Silverware opens a new exhibition dedicated to the beloved Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell and his wife, Majella. Titled 'Daniel & Majella O'Donnell - Music, Style and Memories,' the exhibition offers fans an intimate glimpse into the couple's lives, both on and off stage, showcasing a rich collection of personal memorabilia and iconic stage costumes.

The exhibition promises to be a treasure trove for Daniel O'Donnell's devoted fanbase, featuring items that hold deep personal significance. A special highlight is the display of their wedding outfits from November 2002, including Majella’s wedding dress and tiara, alongside Daniel’s three-piece suit and wedding shoes. Fans will also be able to admire a selection of Daniel’s distinctive stage costumes, pieces that have graced countless performances throughout his illustrious career.

Titled 'Daniel & Majella O'Donnell - Music, Style and Memories', the exhibition is opening at the Museum of Style Icons at Newbridge Silverware.

Adding to the personal touch, the exhibition includes a Fair Isle Aran sweater knitted by Daniel’s mother, Julia, which he wore when recording his first song, 'My Donegal Shore.' Framed gold discs recognizing his immense record sales and his Honorary MBE are also on display. Perhaps one of the most unique items is the original 'This Is Your Life' book presented to Daniel by Michael Aspel in 2000. Both Daniel and Majella have expressed their honor and delight at seeing their careers and personal memories celebrated in such a unique setting, emphasizing the special connection they share with their fans.
