Datti remains my brother and ally despite political differences, Obi says

Peter Obi says Datti Baba-Ahmed remains his brother and ally, despite the political differences that now separate them.

Obi recalled that Baba-Ahmed once stood beside him as his running mate and partner in the struggle to build a better Nigeria. He also said Baba-Ahmed knows that they won the election.

Although Baba-Ahmed may see him differently today, Obi said he respected his former running mate’s right to hold his own opinions and convictions. He added that political disagreements would never erase their bond of brotherhood and said he would always speak of Baba-Ahmed with respect.
