David Almansa Continues Dominating the Category

Spanish rider David Almansa has continued his strong performance, dominating the Moto3 practice sessions for the Aragon Grand Prix. Almansa, riding a KTM, was the fastest in the second free practice session, clocking a time of 1:57.259.

He edged out Italy's Guido Pini (Honda) by a narrow margin of 49 thousandths of a second. Marco Morelli, a Spanish-Argentine rider also on a KTM, secured third place, 140 thousandths behind Almansa.

The session was not without incident, as Spanish rider Adrián Fernández (Honda) experienced a high-speed crash early on, requiring repairs to his motorcycle. Meanwhile, Brian Uriarte, who had to compete in the first qualifying session, is aiming to secure a spot in the second.

Almansa's dominance was evident as he consistently led the timing charts, with several other Spanish riders like Máximo Quiles, Brian Uriarte, and Álvaro Carpe also showing strong pace. Riders from Finland and Argentina, as well as Italian rider Guido Pini, were also competitive.
