DBKL Offers Installment Plans for Public Housing Rent Arrears

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is implementing a compassionate approach to assist residents of its Public Housing (PA) and People's Housing Project (PPR) schemes who are facing difficulties in paying their rent. Mayor Datuk Fadlun Mak Ujud announced that tenants with outstanding rent arrears will be given the opportunity to settle their debts through installment plans.

This move is designed to provide much-needed relief to tenants, ensuring they can clear their arrears without facing undue hardship or jeopardizing their household welfare. We will issue notices to the tenants involved and at the same time approach them so that they can pay by installments.
