Delta Electronics Expands HVDC Expertise with Singapore ITE Partnership

Delta Electronics is significantly expanding its High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) capabilities through a strategic partnership with Singapore's Institute of Technical Education (ITE). The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to cultivate a pipeline of skilled professionals essential for the growing demands of modern power infrastructure and High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications.

The partnership will focus on establishing a robust HVDC training system that simulates real-world working scenarios. This initiative will provide ITE faculty and students with enhanced practical skills through corporate internships, student internships, and collaborative projects. Furthermore, Delta and ITE will jointly develop pre-employment (PET) and continuing education (CET) training modules, offering students and professionals more opportunities to gain hands-on experience with HVDC technology and its diverse industry applications.

Delta emphasizes that the increasing demand for high-efficiency and reliable power transmission, driven by advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and HPC, makes HVDC technology increasingly critical. The company believes this collaboration will bolster the necessary technical expertise and talent pool required to support these burgeoning sectors.

This is not a one-off initiative; Delta and ITE plan to explore further projects over the next five years.
