Dentist linked to trial for sexual abuse in Venustiano Carranza; CDMX Prosecutor's Office detects another similar complaint

A dentist in Mexico City faces trial for alleged sexual abuse during a dental appointment. Fernando “N” has been formally linked to the proceedings by a control judge, who also imposed pretrial detention and set a two-month period for the complementary investigation.

The alleged incident took place on June 15, 2026, when a female patient visited the dentist's office in the Venustiano Carranza borough for dental treatment. According to the investigation, the dentist allegedly engaged in sexual acts without the patient's consent during the consultation.

The victim filed a complaint the day after the alleged assault, prompting the Public Prosecutor's Office to launch an investigation. This included gathering the victim's testimony, conducting psychological assessments, and carrying out other investigative actions by the Investigative Police.

During the inquiry, prosecutors uncovered a previous investigation with similar characteristics that also implicated Fernando “N.” This discovery bolstered the evidence presented to the judicial authorities. An arrest warrant was issued on July 28, and it was executed the following day by investigative police in the same borough where the alleged offense occurred.
