Dertour Acquires Full Control of DSR Hotel Holding

The Dertour Group is expanding its hotel operations by acquiring full ownership of DSR Hotel Holding, a significant German hotel company. The transaction, effective August 1, will simplify the ownership structure and strengthen the group's position in the hospitality sector.

DSR Hotel Holding currently manages 34 hotels located in cities, by lakes, and on the coastlines of Germany, Austria, and Italy. Its portfolio includes well-known brands such as A-Rosa, aja Resorts, and Henri, as well as individual hotels. The company employs over 2,700 staff members. Future developments include the opening of the Henri hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and an A-Rosa hotel on Lake Tegernsee, scheduled for September.

This full acquisition is a key part of Dertour's growth strategy, which prioritizes its own hotel base. Since 2021, all hotel activities have been consolidated under a specialized hotel division. This segment now encompasses 12 brands, around 120 properties in 15 countries, and employs approximately 5,000 people. Hotels easily accessible by car or train are increasingly important to the group's strategy.

Christoph Debus, CEO of Dertour Group, stated that the full ownership of DSR Hotel Holding continues their expansion in the hotel sector. He emphasized that hotels are a crucial element of their tourism offerings, and their owned properties consistently achieve high guest satisfaction and profitability. Debus highlighted the strategic locations of DSR Hotel Holding's properties, ranging from city centers to waterfront and mountain resorts. The group plans to further expand its owned hotel network.

Philipp von Czapiewski will assume the role of CEO of DSR Hotel Holding on August 15, 2026. He will be responsible for the company's continued development and will join the management board of Dertour Group's hotel division. Ingo Burmester, CEO of Dertour Group Hotel Division, noted that von Czapiewski is an experienced manager who will help develop the company and strengthen DSR Hotel Holding's position within their hotel network. Dertour stressed the importance of maintaining DSR Hotel Holding's identity and strengths.
