Filmmaker Ezel Akay has broken his silence following his release under judicial control in connection with a drug investigation. Detained in İnegöl, Bursa province, Akay took to social media to address the situation, expressing his reaction to the news circulating about his arrest.

He emphasized that the legal proceedings are ongoing and appealed to the public to reserve judgment until the court reaches its conclusion. "As someone who has never been involved in any crime in my life, I advise you to wait for the outcome of the ongoing trial," Akay stated. "You will learn everything about whose houses were involved and why the incident escalated at the end of the trial!"

The investigation led to the detention of both Ezel Akay and his brother, musician Eren Kazım Akay, on July 23. While Ezel Akay was subsequently released under judicial control, his brother was arrested and remains in custody.
