Director thanks Jung Hae-in, Kang Ha-neul for challenging Korean animation roles

Director Ahn Jae-hoon has voiced his appreciation for actors Jung Hae-in and Kang Ha-neul's decision to lend their voices to the upcoming Korean animation, 'The Deep Inside.' Ahn acknowledged that taking on voice roles in Korean animation is not a simple choice, especially for actors accustomed to live-action performances.

Speaking at a press and distribution preview event for 'The Deep Inside' held in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on August 26th, Ahn expressed his gratitude. "It must not have been an easy choice for the actors to take on voice acting for Korean animation, but I am thankful they participated," he stated.

The film, scheduled for release on September 9th, centers around a character named Agami, who is cast into deep water and develops gills. The narrative promises a unique story within the realm of Korean animation, a field that Ahn hopes will benefit from the involvement of established actors.

This collaboration highlights a growing trend of prominent actors engaging with animated projects, potentially boosting the profile and appeal of domestic animation.
