Disney Confirms 'Zootopia 3' with Original Voice Cast Returning

Disney is bringing the beloved characters of Zootopia back to the big screen with a confirmed third movie. The announcement comes after the immense success of the second film, which became the company's highest-grossing animated feature of all time. The news was shared during Disney's D23 convention in Anaheim, California. Actress Ginnifer Goodwin, the English voice of Officer Judy Hopps, expressed her excitement, exclaiming, "The bunny will be back!"

Goodwin will reprise her role alongside Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan and Jason Bateman, who also return to voice the main characters. While a release date has not yet been set, fans can anticipate another adventure for the unlikely police duo. The Zootopia franchise first debuted in 2016, introducing Judy Hopps as the first bunny to join the police force in a metropolis where she partnered with a cunning fox con artist, Nick Wilde, to uncover a conspiracy.

The second film, released last November, saw Judy and Nick back as police partners. They faced a new threat from a mysterious reptile named Gary, voiced by Quan, who disrupted the city and forced the pair to infiltrate unfamiliar districts to maintain peace. The franchise continues to captivate audiences with its blend of humor, action, and social commentary.
