Disney Hits Party World Premieres in September with K-Pop Star Wendy as Special Guest

Taipei is set to host the world premiere of "Disney Hits LIVE!," a new concert celebrating beloved Disney and Pixar songs. The event, scheduled for September, will feature a lineup of talented singers from Broadway and Disney musicals, alongside a surprise guest from South Korea.

Disney Hits LIVE! will bring together several Broadway and Disney musical singers and a mysterious K-pop group guest star.

Adding to the excitement, Wendy, the lead vocalist of the popular K-pop group Red Velvet, has been confirmed as a special guest. Wendy, known for her warm vocals and powerful high notes, will join other performers including DeMarius R. Copes (from "Hamilton"), Gabriela Carrillo (from "SIX"), Olivia Donalson (from "SIX" and "Aladdin"), Preston Perez (from the "Frozen" musical tour), and Hatty Ryan King (from the "Frozen" musical and "Dear Evan Hansen"). The concert will be led by Disney's own music director, Benjamin Rauhala, and accompanied by the New York Broadway Live Band.

The "Disney Hits LIVE!" concert promises an immersive experience, featuring classic tunes from iconic Disney and Pixar animated films. Notably, the show will also present classic melodies from "High School Musical." The performances are slated for September 26 and 27 at the Taipei Pop Music Center, where a giant LED screen will display animated classics, creating a magical atmosphere with stunning lighting and stage design.
