Djakarta Warehouse Project Management Denies Tie-up with Whip Pink

Ismaya Live, the promoter behind the popular electronic music event Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP), has vehemently denied any partnership or collaboration with Whip Pink, a company producing nitrous oxide, often referred to as "laughing gas."

David Ferdian, Director of Ismaya Live, stated on Monday, June 8, 2026, that Whip Pink had used the DWP logo without authorization on its social media accounts. Ismaya Live claims it only became aware of the unauthorized logo usage in January 2026, after the issue gained public attention. The company has since formally requested the removal of the content.

The clarification was made at the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) in South Jakarta, where David Ferdian and colleagues provided statements to investigators. Ferdian reported that police asked approximately 14 questions regarding the Whip Pink social media post.

This situation unfolds against a backdrop of police investigations into Whip Pink. Authorities have reportedly questioned several social media influencers who were found to have consumed the gas. One influencer from Makassar, identified as ZNM, reported experiencing headaches and hallucinations after using Whip Pink, while an associate allegedly suffered temporary paralysis. The article notes that these individuals purchased the gas out of curiosity.

The police questioning of public figures is reportedly a follow-up to the earlier raid on a Whip Pink production facility, managed by PT Suplaindo Sukses Sejahtera (SSS). Investigators are tracing consumers who have actively purchased and allegedly misused the gas illegally.
