Doctor on beaten man in Dren village near Zubin Potok: He is stable, in intensive care

Nenad Rašković is currently in stable condition in the intensive care unit of the Mitrovica KBC hospital following an alleged assault in the village of Dren, near Zubin Potok. Dr. Goran Radojević confirmed that Rašković suffered injuries to his back, head, and chest, necessitating his admission to the intensive care unit for treatment and monitoring. According to a statement from the Serbian List, Rašković claims that members of the Kosovo Police entered his family home, conducted a search, and then proceeded to beat him without any apparent cause. The statement further alleges that Rašković was then taken to a nearby forest, tied to a tree, and severely beaten with a water hose, resulting in multiple bodily injuries, including suspected broken ribs. During the alleged abuse, Rašković states that his assailants demanded he confess to committing war crimes against Albanians during the war. The Serbian List conveyed these accusations based on Rašković's testimony. In response to these allegations, the Kosovo Police told N1 that they have no information regarding any police officers beating an individual. They stated that the case will be reported to the Kosovo Police Inspectorate for further investigation.
