Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has publicly appealed for urgent financial assistance, seeking ₦30 million to undergo three life-saving surgeries. The actress revealed in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page that she has been hospitalized for three weeks and can no longer manage the escalating costs of her treatment.

My people, my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control. I need your help. Don’t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me… I’m begging you, my fans and family, don’t let me die because I am going through a lot, as in pain.

Visibly distressed, Nwosu pleaded with her fans, family, and colleagues not to abandon her during this critical battle with illness. "My people, my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control," she expressed. She added, "I need your help. Don’t let me die. Nwosu disclosed that she requires "like three surgeries to go through with" and urged well-wishers to contact her management for details on how to contribute. In the caption accompanying the video, she acknowledged the difficulty of making such a public plea but stated that the urgency of her medical condition left her with no alternative.
