Don’t panic over Muslim-Muslim ticket, Prophet Akwiwu tells Nigerians

Prophet Chibueze Hazel Akwiwu has called on Nigerians to set aside concerns about the Muslim-Muslim ticket, asserting that religious differences should not distract from the pursuit of good governance and national development. Speaking in Owerri, Akwiwu addressed comments attributed to Islamic cleric Sheikh Yahaya Jingir regarding Christian support for President Bola Tinubu's administration in the upcoming election.

God is directing the President towards good governance and national development. Therefore, nobody should panic concerning the statement of the Muslim cleric on Muslim-Muslim ticket. That is a spirit of error; he was manipulated.

Akwiwu dismissed Jingir's remarks as a "spirit of error," suggesting the cleric had been manipulated. He stated that President Tinubu's administration is guided by God toward good governance and national development, not a religious agenda. "Nobody should panic concerning the statement of the Muslim cleric on Muslim-Muslim ticket. That is a spirit of error; he was manipulated," Akwiwu said.

The prophet expressed confidence that attempts to undermine the Tinubu administration, including the current controversy over the Muslim-Muslim ticket, would fail. He urged for peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria, stressing that religious affiliation should not hinder good governance. "As a spiritual man, I’m telling you that Muslims in Nigeria are not a threat to good governance," he added.

They came with insult format, it did not hold ground. Now they have come with Muslim-Muslim ticket; it will not still hold ground.

While advocating for focus on governance and development, Akwiwu also shared his Christian belief in the eventual conversion of Muslims to Christianity, citing biblical passages. He urged Nigerians to remain calm and concentrate on national progress rather than allowing religious sentiments to deepen divisions.
