DOOR initiative launches Open Door Dialogues to boost diaspora ties

Ghana's Decade of Our Repatriation (DOOR) initiative has officially launched its Open Door Dialogues, a new program designed to deepen connections between the nation and the African diaspora. This initiative seeks to cultivate greater opportunities for investment, facilitate the transfer of valuable skills, and encourage permanent resettlement within Ghana.

The program's launch, held at the Great Hall of the University of Ghana, brought together a diverse group of stakeholders. Attendees included government officials, diplomats, academics, traditional leaders, and entrepreneurs, all converging to discuss and advance the goals of the DOOR initiative.

The Open Door Dialogues represent a concerted effort to bridge the gap between Ghana and its global diaspora. By fostering these connections, the initiative aims to harness the collective potential of Ghanaians abroad, channeling it towards national development and creating a more inclusive future for all.
