Doria Inaugurates Lide Angola, Invites Angolan President to Brazil

Former São Paulo Governor João Doria has announced the establishment of Lide Angola during a visit to the Angolan capital, Luanda. This initiative aims to deepen the economic agenda between Brazil and the African nation, focusing on key sectors such as oil, mining, and agribusiness.

During his visit, Doria met with Angolan President João Lourenço. He extended an invitation for the president to visit Brazil on September 26, an invitation that Lourenço reportedly accepted. Doria plans to host a dinner to honor President Lourenço and introduce him to Brazilian business leaders who have interests or operations in Angola.

"We are building a partnership together that will produce good results for both countries," Doria stated, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the initiative. Lide Angola marks the 33rd unit of the Lide group, founded by Doria, which is dedicated to fostering connections between the public and private business sectors.

The creation of Lide Angola signifies a strategic effort to bolster economic relations and explore new avenues for investment and collaboration between Brazil and Angola, leveraging the strengths of both economies.
