DR Congo cancels World Cup training in Kinshasa due to Ebola, maintains friendly in Spain

The Democratic Republic of Congo's national football team, the Leopards, faces an unusual challenge as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup. Due to the concerning Ebola outbreak in the eastern regions, the decision has been made to relocate all planned training sessions from the capital, Kinshasa, to Belgium. Following the Ebola virus epidemic, the Government and the (Congolese Football) Federation decided to move all training matches that were scheduled here in Kinshasa.
