Driver Loses Control, Bus Overturns: 21 Injured in Samsun Accident

A public bus carrying passengers veered off the road and overturned into a ditch in Samsun, Turkey, leaving 21 people injured. The incident occurred around 6:45 PM in the Ambarköy area of the Çarşamba district as the bus traveled from Çarşamba towards the city center.

The driver, identified as Mustafa Öz, reportedly lost control of the bus, causing it to roll into the roadside ditch. Eyewitnesses alerted emergency services, who promptly arrived at the scene. Firefighters, medical personnel, police, and gendarmerie units were dispatched to manage the situation.

Paramedics attended to the injured passengers at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals in the surrounding area via ambulance. The overturned bus was later removed from the ditch with the help of a crane, and police temporarily closed the road to facilitate rescue and recovery operations. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
