Driver tries to fool police with toilet water during drug test

Police in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany, stopped a 37-year-old driver during a routine traffic control, only to uncover a series of attempts to evade consequences. The driver initially presented a photo of a relative's driver's license, admitting he did not have his own.

An alcohol test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.81 per mille. The situation escalated when the driver attempted to falsify a drug test. He twice tried to submit toilet water instead of urine into the testing cup. However, police officers noticed the deception because the toilet water was cold, a stark contrast to the expected temperature of urine.

During a third attempt, officers ensured the driver provided a genuine sample. The results confirmed he was not only under the influence of alcohol but had also consumed cocaine and cannabis. The driver now faces multiple criminal and administrative proceedings, and his vehicle's keys were handed over to an acquaintance.
