Drunk 18-Year-Old Attacks Police Officer in Mannheim

Police in Mannheim, Germany, arrested an 18-year-old woman early Saturday morning after she allegedly attacked and slightly injured a police officer. The incident occurred while officers were responding to a dispute between several women in the city center. According to police reports, the officers were mediating the altercation when the young woman began to disrupt their work aggressively.

Authorities stated that the woman approached a 28-year-old female officer with her fists, attempting to strike her. The officer sustained minor injuries during the alleged assault. Law enforcement officers were able to subdue and detain the 18-year-old. A breathalyzer test administered at the police station revealed an alcohol level exceeding 1.8 per mille.
