Drunk bus driver apprehended for erratic driving on National Highway 24

A bus driver in Vietnam's Quang Ngai province was stopped by police for driving a passenger bus in a dangerously unstable manner on National Highway 24. The driver, identified as A.T., 36, exhibited erratic behavior, including inconsistent speed, loud engine revving, and sudden steering, which alarmed other motorists. The incident prompted a swift response from local police, who, in coordination with traffic police, intercepted the vehicle. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.730 mg per liter of air, significantly exceeding the legal limit. Authorities have initiated administrative violation proceedings against the driver, which could result in a fine of 35 million Vietnamese dong and a 23-month suspension of his driver's license. The Quang Ngai Provincial Traffic Police Department has reiterated warnings against driving under the influence of alcohol, emphasizing the severe risks and legal consequences.
