Drunk Man Arrested After Causing Chaos on Zagreb Tram Tracks

Zagreb police have revealed details of a chaotic morning incident involving a 21-year-old man who was arrested after causing public disorder and a physical altercation. The man was later found lying on tram tracks near the main train station, obstructing public transport.

Upon arrival, police officers used force, including physical restraint and handcuffs, to detain the 21-year-old who had previously disturbed public order on the street and engaged in a physical fight with a 29-year-old.

According to the Zagreb Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on August 29. Police responded to a report of a disturbance of public order. Upon arrival, officers used force, including physical restraint and handcuffs, to detain the 21-year-old. He had previously disturbed public order on the street and engaged in a physical fight with a 29-year-old man.

Authorities reported that the 21-year-old did not comply with police orders. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 1.92 grams per kilogram. He was arrested and taken to the police station for further investigation. Emergency medical services examined him and found a minor hand injury, which police believe predated his arrest.
