Polish national arrested near Šibenik on fraud and document forgery charges

Croatian police have arrested a 30-year-old Polish citizen in the Šibenik area, acting on a European arrest warrant issued by Polish authorities. The man is facing serious charges, including fraud and document forgery.

The arrest was carried out by officers from the Šibenik-Knin Police Department's general crime division, in collaboration with the Šibenik Intervention Unit. The European arrest warrant was issued by a competent court in Poland to initiate criminal proceedings against the suspect.

Authorities allege the 30-year-old committed several crimes, including document forgery, fraud, and the misuse of personal documents. After the police concluded their procedures, the arrested individual was transferred to the custody supervisor of the Šibenik-Knin Police Administration.

Police have released footage of the dramatic arrest, which they describe as swift and efficient, resembling a scene from a film. The video shows the moment the suspect was apprehended by the special forces.
