Dubai Culture and KHDA join hands for Arts in Dubai’s education system

Dubai Culture and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) have joined forces to enhance the role of arts within Dubai's education system. The collaboration kicked off with an 'Innovation Lab' session focused on integrating arts and design into the curricula of private schools.

This initiative seeks to develop a comprehensive framework for identifying, nurturing, and empowering students with artistic talent. It is part of Dubai Culture's broader strategy to advance creative education and equip future generations with essential innovation skills.

The 'Innovation Lab' brought together senior leaders and employees from both organizations. They engaged in in-depth discussions about the current state of arts and design education in schools and explored key opportunities for improvement. The goal is to reinforce Dubai's position as a global hub for the creative economy by fostering a vibrant arts ecosystem from an early age.

The sessions were held at the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, providing a dedicated space for brainstorming and strategic planning.
