Due to an accident on the Primorska highway, traffic is increasingly congested, with traffic proceeding on the emergency lane

A serious accident on the Primorska highway has caused extensive traffic jams between Logatec and Unc in the direction of Koper. Both the overtaking and driving lanes are closed, forcing vehicles onto the emergency lane, leading to long queues extending back to Logatec, according to the traffic information center.

Further delays are affecting other parts of the route towards Koper, with significant congestion reported on sections between Ljubljana and Postojna. This situation is causing considerable disruption for travelers heading to the coast.

Elsewhere in Slovenia, traffic is also impacted by various closures. The Pomurska highway is experiencing delays between the Draženci junction and the Lancova vas exit towards Gruškovje due to a closed driving lane. Additionally, congestion is forming before the Karavanke tunnel towards Slovenia, with occasional tunnel closures contributing to the delays. Traffic is also backed up before the Šentilj border crossing into Slovenia.
