Dust-stirring winds, rain and rising temperatures forecast across Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is bracing for a mix of weather conditions, including dust-stirring winds, rainfall, and rising temperatures, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM). These forecasts affect several parts of the Kingdom on Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to climb in the Eastern and Riyadh regions. Meanwhile, rainfall is predicted for their southern areas, as well as parts of Jazan and Asir. The NCM also anticipates dust-stirring winds impacting the Eastern, Riyadh, Jazan, Asir, Makkah, and Najran regions.

Conditions over the Red Sea will see southwesterly to southeasterly winds in the north, while the central and southern parts will experience westerly to northwesterly winds. Sea conditions are expected to range from calm to choppy, with wave heights varying from 0.5 meters to over 2 meters. In the Arabian Gulf, winds will vary by location, with speeds ranging from moderate to strong.
