E1 Freezes August Domestic LPG Supply Prices, Considering Consumer Burden Relief

E1 announced on August 2nd that it will maintain its domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply prices for August, a move intended to alleviate financial pressure on consumers. The company has set the price for household and commercial propane at 1,483.17 won per kilogram, with industrial propane priced at 1,489.77 won per kilogram.

These rates are identical to those set in the previous month, indicating a commitment to price stability. The price for butane has been set at 1,719.54 won per kilogram. This specific pricing for butane is influenced by a government decision to waive the sales surcharge, which amounts to 62.283 won per kilogram, a measure that took effect on July 30th.

By freezing LPG prices, E1 aims to provide some relief to consumers facing economic uncertainties. The decision reflects consideration for the financial well-being of its customer base, particularly in the household and commercial sectors, where LPG is a significant energy source.
