Eastern Paraguay Roars with Excitement During AAAP Autocross Cup

The eastern region of Paraguay buzzed with excitement as it hosted the spectacular fourth round of the AAAP Autocross Cup last weekend. Organized by the High Paraná Autocross Association (AAAP) in tribute to Hugo Ruiz, the event drew enthusiastic crowds who reveled in the high-octane action. The circuit at kilometer 10, in the Monday area, proved to be an ideal venue, pushing drivers and their machines to the absolute limit.

Competitors battled fiercely across multiple categories, including traditional autocross, powerful machines in Cars A and B, Brands, Karting, and ATV. The "super prime" format, featuring three intense laps per category, kept spectators on the edge of their seats as drivers vied for the best times. The track itself was meticulously prepared by the organizing entity, ensuring a demanding yet fair competition.

Following the intense racing, the final standings were announced. In the Autocross Free Force category, Jorge Aguinagalde and José Ovelar secured first place. Javier Cabañas and Rafa Agüero triumphed in Autocross Standard, while Jorge and Aarón Méndez took the top spot in Autocross Light. Eliezer González and Carlos Dos Santos dominated the Cars A category, and César Ruiz and Jorge Gill led the Cars B class. Hugo Cabañas was the sole winner in Karting. The ATV categories saw victories for José González in ATV Junior, Joaquín González in ATV Infantil 1, and Alexis Brizuela in ATV Infantil 2.

The AAAP is already gearing up for the fifth round, which is scheduled to take place on July 18 and 19. This upcoming event will feature a street circuit in the urban area of the district of San Alberto, promising another exciting display of motorsport.
