Ecuador has deported a Colombian citizen wanted on multiple arrest warrants and an Interpol Blue Notice back to his home country. The operation, conducted in the northern Andean province of Carchi, bordering Colombia, was a collaborative effort.

Ecuador's Minister of the Interior, John Reimberg, identified the deportee as Luis Hernando P. O. Reimberg stated that the individual faces several outstanding arrest warrants in Colombia.
