Eduardo Bolsonaro calls Michelle's video against Flávio 'immature'

Eduardo Bolsonaro has publicly criticized former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro for a video she posted in late June, in which she expressed feeling disrespected and humiliated by her stepson, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. The former federal deputy called Michelle's actions "immature" and stated she should never have released the video.

Speaking to the portal Metrópoles, Eduardo Bolsonaro described internal disputes within the Bolsonaro family as natural, given the intense competition for a coveted position like the presidency. He suggested that these divergences have now become public.

This is not the first time Eduardo has spoken out against Michelle. Following her public statement, he shared posts accusing her of betraying Flávio and suggested the video was a power play for the presidential candidacy. Previous disagreements between them have also surfaced regarding electoral strategies in Ceará.

When questioned about claims that individuals close to him encouraged online attacks against Michelle after her video, Eduardo stated he was unaware of the specific profiles mentioned. He asserted that if Michelle intends to enter politics, she should expect to be held accountable like any other politician, including her husband and son. "Every day, when he wakes up, he doesn't know what about, but he knows he'll have to chase down some criticism against him and reverse it. That's our daily life," he remarked.

In a separate matter, Eduardo Bolsonaro criticized Ricardo Salles's bid for a Senate seat in São Paulo, deeming it a "disrespect" to his own leadership. He urged the former environment minister to withdraw from the race, citing a prior agreement for the Senate slate. Eduardo believes Salles's candidacy is not for the good of São Paulo or Brazil and emphasized the Senate's crucial role in future political maneuvers, including potential impeachment proceedings against Supreme Court justices.
