EEC Delegation Visits Bishkek Labs to Enhance Product Safety in EAEU

A delegation from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), headed by Minister for Technical Regulation Alexander Subbotin, conducted a working visit to Bishkek. The visit focused on product safety and involved meetings at the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance. During the visit, EEC representatives, including Deputy Director Almaz Davletov and Assistant Minister Kristina Nenadovets, were briefed on the department's activities, organizational structure, and key priorities. Officials presented information on efforts to ensure public sanitary-epidemiological well-being and implement relevant measures. The delegation also toured the department's testing laboratories, observing modern infrastructure, analytical equipment, and research methodologies. They were shown the quality management system ensuring the accuracy of laboratory test results. The visit included a demonstration of the state registration service for products, detailing the process of sanitary-epidemiological expertise, obtaining state registration certificates, and updating the EAEU's unified registry. Following the discussions, both the EEC and the Ministry of Health highlighted the critical need to strengthen their collaboration. This partnership aims to improve technical regulation mechanisms, advance sanitary-epidemiological surveillance, facilitate experience exchange, and ultimately ensure product safety across the Eurasian Economic Union.
