Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey hold trilateral talks on regional issues

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with his Saudi and Turkish counterparts, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Hakan Fidan, in Cairo. The trilateral meeting occurred on the sidelines of the Four Regional Parties’ Meeting hosted by Egypt.

The discussions were part of ongoing consultations between the three nations on matters of shared regional interest. According to Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers exchanged views on several key regional files. These included the ongoing developments in the Gaza Strip, the situations in Sudan and Libya, recent developments concerning Iran, and the evolving situation in the Horn of Africa.

The three top diplomats underscored the critical importance of maintaining joint coordination and continuous consultations. Their aim is to bolster regional security and stability, and to strengthen collective efforts toward resolving ongoing crises across the region.
