Eid-el-Maulud: Soludo ‘s wife felicitates Muslims, urges kindness, tolerance

Nonye Soludo, the First Lady of Anambra State and founder of the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, extended felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud. She urged citizens to embrace the celebration as an inspiration for greater kindness and understanding towards one another.

In a statement issued by her media aide, Daniel Ezeigwe, Soludo encouraged the imbibing of Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) teachings. She specifically highlighted the importance of extending a hand of fellowship to the needy and vulnerable segments of society. The First Lady also emphasized the need to promote peace, tolerance, and harmonious coexistence throughout the country.

Soludo called on Muslim faithful in Anambra State and nationwide to make a conscious effort to adhere to the core teachings of Eid-el-Maulud. She conveyed wishes for a blessed and peaceful celebration, expressing hope that the sacred occasion would bring peace to homes, strengthen faith, and foster compassion. The First Lady noted that the life of the Prophet offers valuable lessons in peace, perseverance, tolerance, humility, and selflessness, applicable to all.
