Nigeria's music titans Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy are dominating the nominations for the 18th Headies Awards, with the full list of contenders unveiled ahead of the ceremony scheduled to take place in Canada. The three Afrobeats superstars have garnered multiple nods across key categories, including Afrobeats Album of the Year, Best Male Artiste, Song of the Year, Afrobeats Single of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Producer of the Year. Davido and Omah Lay's collaboration 'With You' is a strong contender, nominated for Song of the Year, Afrobeats Single of the Year, Best Recording of the Year, Best Headies Collaboration, and Viewers’ Choice. Wizkid also secured multiple nominations, including for Song of the Year and Afrobeats Single of the Year with Asake for 'MMS' and 'Jogodo' respectively. His album 'Morayo' is up for Afrobeats Album of the Year, and he is also in contention for Digital Artiste of the Year, Best Male Artiste, and Viewers’ Choice.
