Ekiti PDP, Accord, ADP, and Others Form Alliance to Back Tinubu in 2027

A significant political coalition has been established in Ekiti State, Nigeria, with the stated aim of backing President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign in 2027. This alliance brings together several political parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Accord, and the Action Democratic Party (ADP).

Dr. Wole Oluyede, who was the Peoples Democratic Party's governorship candidate in Ekiti State for the 2026 election, announced the formation of this political bloc. He confirmed that the coalition also encompasses the Young Progressive Party (YPP), the Action Alliance (AA), and various other political groups.
