Elderly Woman Subdued, Robbed of 400,000 Pesos in Apodaca Home Invasion

An elderly woman in Apodaca, Nuevo León, was the victim of a violent home invasion, losing approximately 400,000 pesos in cash. The incident occurred in the Praderas de Agua Fría neighborhood when three unidentified men broke into the 72-year-old woman's home.

According to preliminary reports, the woman was alone when the assailants surprised her. They subdued her and held her under threat while they searched the residence. After locating the substantial sum of cash, the men fled the scene before authorities could be alerted.

Following the ordeal, the woman sought help and was attended to by paramedics. She sustained injuries and suffered a nervous crisis as a result of the aggression, though she did not require hospitalization. The amount stolen is a significant loss for the victim.
