Elnusa Petrofin supports national B50 implementation with industrial biosolar distribution

PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN), a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk. and part of Pertamina Group's Upstream Subholding, is actively supporting the national mandatory B50 program. This support is being realized through the initial distribution of industrial biosolar B50 from the Fuel Terminal Indonesia Bulk Terminal (IBT) in Pulau Laut, South Kalimantan, to various industrial sectors.

This milestone is a critical component of the Pertamina Group's strategic plan to advance the national energy transition agenda. Furthermore, the B50 mandate aims to strengthen energy resilience by increasing the utilization of domestic biofuel resources. The distribution initiative aligns with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' decree, which mandates a 50% blend of biodiesel with solar fuel (B50), supported by the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP).

As an integral part of Pertamina Group's energy logistics ecosystem, Elnusa Petrofin is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of terminals, managing the blending process, and distributing the B50 product to industrial clients. The company's involvement underscores its commitment to providing a secure, reliable, and efficient energy supply chain to facilitate the national B50 implementation.
