Embraer Breaks Record with Seventh Consecutive Order Backlog Increase

Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer has reported a strong first half of the year, delivering 109 aircraft, a significant 20% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This surge in deliveries contributed to the company's order backlog reaching a record $34.5 billion, its seventh consecutive record high.

The company attributes this impressive performance to a strategic combination of new contracts and expansion across various business segments. Embraer's first-half deliveries represent 42% of its annual delivery target, which ranges from 240 to 255 aircraft, surpassing its historical average of 34% for this period.

During the second quarter alone, Embraer delivered 65 aircraft. This includes 30 commercial aircraft, a 15% year-on-year increase, with 15 units of the E195-E2 model. The executive aviation segment also saw substantial growth, with 45 aircraft delivered between April and June, an 18% rise.

While no military aircraft were delivered in the second quarter, Embraer highlighted a significant acquisition: the United Arab Emirates Air Force ordered the C-390 Millennium. This deal, comprising 10 firm orders and 10 options, marks the aircraft's entry into the Middle Eastern market and represents the largest international order for the C-390 from a single country.

Looking ahead, Embraer forecasts delivering between 80 and 85 commercial planes this year, an increase from the 78 units delivered in 2025. The executive jet division is expected to deliver between 160 and 170 aircraft, up from 155 last year. These projections underscore Embraer's continued growth and strong market position.
