Emir of Ilorin Celebrates Dr. Alimi AbdulRazaq at 70, Extols Virtues

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, extended warm felicitations to Dr. Alimi AbdulRazaq on the occasion of his 70th birthday. As the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, the Emir lauded Dr. AbdulRazaq, referred to as the Mutawali of Ilorin, highlighting his significant contributions.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir characterized Dr. AbdulRazaq as a "beacon of wisdom, experience and community leadership." His life, the Emir noted, has been distinguished by "selfless service, scholarship, philanthropy and unwavering commitment to the progress of the Emirate and Nigeria at large." The Emir emphasized that Dr. AbdulRazaq's contributions to the development and preservation of cultural heritage are invaluable to the Ilorin Emirate.

Furthermore, the Emir stated that Dr. AbdulRazaq's "dedication to the ideals of peace, unity and moral uprightness has continued to inspire generations." He is the son of the late Alhaji A.G.F. AbdulRazaq, SAN, who was the first lawyer to achieve the prestigious "Silk" designation in Northern Nigeria.

The Emir, on behalf of the Ilorin Emirate Council and its people, conveyed hearty wishes for Dr. AbdulRazaq's continued good health, sound mind, and extended service to humanity. Prayers were also offered for Almighty Allah to bless him with long life, wisdom, and the strength to continue serving Islam and humanity.
