Employee Stabs Owner Over Salary Dispute in Delhi

A shop owner in Delhi sustained severe injuries, including stab wounds to the face and chest, during a dispute with his employee over unpaid wages. The incident occurred in Mukherjee Nagar, northwest Delhi, on Monday. Police identified the victim as Somnath, 45, and the assailant as Vikas, who fled the scene after the attack.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest) Akanksha Yadav, the altercation stemmed from a disagreement about salary. Vikas, who had been employed at the eatery for approximately two months, reportedly demanded payment again on Monday, despite Somnath claiming he had already settled the wages.
